The founder is a travel enthusiast and a professional photographer who loves traveling and capturing the moments. Drive to Kathmandu Domestic Airport from the hotel

Our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drop you at the Tribhuwan International Airport.

The Everest Overview team has years of experience on this journey, so you need not worry. Every process is streamlined, and everything will go smoothly.

Note: There is another option to reach Lukla. Around 3 AM, you will travel by bus to Manthali, and from there, you will take a short flight to Lukla.

Processing for the Heli Tour

Once you arrive at the Airport, we will prepare for the Heli ride to Everest Base Camp, ensuring all documents are okay, and head towards the departure point.

Note: You must always bring a photocopy of your passport to verify.

A helicopter ride to Lukla Airport

Once you pass the check-in process, you sit tight in the helicopter as it goes up, and your Everest Basecamp helicopter tour starts.

You will hear the buzz of the rotors and smooth lift-off flying over the Kathmandu valley to the east.

As the skyline of Kathmandu disappears, the scenic views will be filled with the Himalayas terrains.

Refueling at Lukla Airport

In about 1 hour, the helicopter will reach Lukla Airport, where it will be refueled. It will take around 10-15 minutes; until then, you can enjoy the view.

Ride back to Syangboche at Everest View Hotel

Once you leave Kala Patthar, the heli ride continues to reach the Everest View Hotel in Synagboche. Here, you will have a decent breakfast, as this hotel is renowned as one of the highest-altitude hotels in the world.

From here, you will have breathtaking views of Mount Everest, where its peaks are throwing their massive shadows around. You will have a decent and delicious breakfast and cold drinks if you want.

Return to Lukla-Kathmandu

Arrival at Kathmandu
